The Spirit Books is an award-winning small-sized coffee table book of art that celebrates the spirit of nature and the book. Spirit Books are the name I have given to wordless contemplative art objects, part sculpture and part book, that I have been creating since 1992. Carefully crafted from natural materials and handmade papers, they take the reader out of the everyday world and into a state of grace and reverence. The 2014 catalog contains evocative images of 34 Spirit Books, explanations of the inspiration behind each one, and an introductory essay by Rosemary Noon.
