Susan has over twenty-five years experience presenting workshops and talks. Her travels have brought her around the US and to South Korea. In her talks, she is appreciated for the clarity and candor of her analysis of her life as an artist and her knowledge of the history and practice of making books around the world. In her workshops, she is known for combining creativity and enthusiasm with clear, precise directions. She has worked with all ages in schools, libraries, retreats, and community centers and enjoys intergenerational groups the most.

In connection with Art Lessons: Reflections From An Artist's Life, Susan offers free Skype or phone conversations to book and art groups who purchase 10 copies or more of the book.
